Award-Winning Fine Art Photography
How It Works
A fine art photoshoot usually lasts for a couple of hours and is suitable for the whole family, children or babies. The session consists of a series of perfectly lit, bespoke photographs in front of either plain or textured backdrops. The fine art portraits are 100% personalised and pre-planned to ensure that outfits, backdrops and props are complimentary.
After your session, the images are edited to the highest possible standards. This involves adding textures digitally and adjusting lighting, shading and exposure to ensure that every single pixel is perfect. It’s not uncommon for a single image to take many hours to edit, but the results are truly outstanding.
You will be invited back to the studio to view your photographs from around a week or so after your session where you will also make your choices. The photographs then go through a second stage of processing and checked using something called ‘Soft proofing’ to ensure that your images will look perfect when they are printed. This attention to detail is what makes a fine art photoshoot very special and truly timeless.
The studio is conveniently located in the centre Witney, in West Oxfordshire. The studio is the perfect environment for families and children and was designed from the ground up, with comfort in mind.
As you arrive for your session you will be offered a drink from a wide selection and will also have the chance to sample so homemade cakes or cookies, freshly baked before every session.
The atmosphere is relaxed and the sessions are not hurried, so we have plenty of time to make sure everything is done perfectly.
The price of a fine art or classical photoshoot is £195 for a family photoshoot or £145 for a baby or children’s photoshoot. This includes my time and expertise, a pre-session consultation by phone, the studio time and the editing.
After your session, you will have the opportunity to purchase a wide variety of products to compliment your beautifully edited images.
The sessions are limited and often booked early, so it’s important to book your session early to avoid disappointment.
